Anbyia and Noor Ali interact frequently with their caseworker and interpreter, Mirwais, who arrived about 4 weeks ago with his wife and children. A medical appointment at the Harvest Free Medical Clinic at Detyen Shipyard has been arranged for Noor Ali who arrived with some medical issues. Anbyia and Noor Ali were taken to the Central Mosque of Charleston this past Friday for a weekly worship service and a time of socializing. Classes for learning English have been arranged to occur twice a week for two hours; they each have been given an iPad to be used in classes for learning English.
See the link to a SignUpGenius here which will facilitate the organization and coordination of meeting the needs of Anbyia and Noor Ali. Know that the SignUpGenius will be edited and changed almost daily. So, if you are interested in helping, please check what is needed to be done frequently.
