Lent Kickoff

Lenten small groups have been an annual event at Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church for some time and this year is no exception! This year our intergenerational Lenten kickoff is Sunday, February 19, 2023, in the Fellowship Hall with dinner at 5:00 p.m., followed by a program that will help us get ready for Lent.
For our study this year we will be using Adam Hamilton’s study Luke: Jesus and the Outsiders, Outcasts and Outlaws.
Small groups typically meet one hour for six consecutive weeks during the season of Lent, February 19 – April 2 and have met virtually and in-person. Curriculum is provided and sign-ups for a small group will begin in January. Groups are open to newcomers and meet throughout the week from early morning hours (men’s group) to Sunday evenings, weekdays, and weeknights and meet in people’s homes or on the MPPC campus.
