A Blue Christmas Service
December 18 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
MPPC will host a Blue Christmas Service on Wednesday, December 18th. Also known as “The Longest Night,” this service will be offered especially for those hurting during the holiday season.
You may come because you are mourning the death of a loved one. You may be far from home. You may be suffering from an illness, an addiction or estrangement, or you may be lonely, struggling financially, or in conflict with someone. The reasons for coming are many.
There will be candles lit, music, and a Blue Christmas Tree where you will have the opportunity to write a name on a card and put it on the tree.
The service will begin at 7 PM in the Sanctuary, and there will be a reception after the service in the Fellowship Hall that will be hosted by MPPC’s Stephen Ministers.
