God’s Goods Thrift Store began operation three years ago in an effort to give back to our community. Everybody working at God’s Goods is a volunteer and everything sold has been donated. Since December 2022, God’s Goods has donated $575,000 to Christ based nonprofits in our community!
Some of the charitable organizations receiving donations from God’s Goods are East Cooper Faith Network of MPPC, Hope House, Operation Home, 180 Place, ECCO, Windwood Farm in Mt. Pleasant, Meals on Wheels, Coastal Crisis Chaplaincy, Seafarers, Water Missions International, Toys for Tots, Low Country Orphan Relief, Haiti Outreach Ministries and The Lamb Institute in Honduras.
God’s Goods is open from 9 to 5 Monday through Saturday; there are two shifts every day which are 9 to 1 and 1 to 5. God’s Goods is supported by volunteers (hopefully, like you!) who work these 4-hour shifts OR and by donations of furniture, gently used adult and children’s clothing, and housewares. God’s Goods is located at the Sweetgrass Mercantile Mall in North Mount Pleasant, 3008 N. Hwy 17. Donations are accepted from 10-4, Tuesday through Saturday.
