Bells Across South Carolina

As our Beautiful, Broken, Beloved sermon series continues, we’re exploring the voices, ideals, and events that have shaped our nation’s story as we approach America’s 250th anniversary. In partnership with churches across the Charleston area, MPPC will ring our bells at noon on June 28 (Carolina Day) and July 4 (Independence Day) — continuing a tradition that dates back to the colonial era.

We invite you to gather with us on the Sanctuary porch at noon on both days for the ringing of the bells and a brief prayer for our nation, our community, and all people. You can learn more about this tradition here.
