Ash Wednesday

Ash Wednesday is the beginning of the 40 day season of Lent. During this time, we focus on prayer and repentance to prepare for the coming joy of Easter! Join us on Ash Wednesday at MPPC as we will begin this holy season! There will be opportunities all day to receive the Imposition of Ashes, find time for reflection and prayer, and fellowship with one another.
- 8-9 a.m., Ashes to Go on the Sanctuary Porch – Receive the Imposition of Ashes and a cup of coffee to go.
- 5-6 p.m., Interactive Prayer Stations on the Fellowship Hall Porch – Visit seven stations for reflection and prayer.
- 5:30-6:30 p.m., Dinner in the Fellowship Hall – Join us for a meal and table discussion around our Lenten study: Lent in Plain Sight.
- 7 p.m., Worship in the Sanctuary – End the evening with a worship service in the Sanctuary accompanied by the choir.
