Advent Workshop

Advent is a time when we anticipate celebrating the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ on Christmas Day. We prepare for this celebration in different ways. For some, an Advent calendar is used at home, each day revealing something exciting about the season. For others, a Jesse Tree walks us through Jesus’s family tree as we read about stories of people in his family. At MPPC, we offer an Advent Workshop for children and families that provides a time to gather for fellowship, Advent Wreath making, and children’s crafts that remind us of the season. The wreaths are useable and can easily be recycled year after year, the crafts are “keepers” for storytelling and hanging on our walls, and the fellowship is priceless.
