Plan a Visit
When you set foot on our campus, deep in your bones you begin to feel the heartbeat of a dynamic, relevant yet historic church family. You will hear the laughter and squeals of children; you will see friends and families moving from worship to study to fellowship in a chaotic rhythm; you will find a seat in our traditional worship space (once used as a hospital in the Civil War) or among worshippers in the Net (a more contemporary service in our Fellowship Hall). The words of worship are fresh, though traditions fit like a familiar and favorite piece of clothing; the eclectic music will stir your heart and lift your attention to heavenly things; the message of the morning speaks to the experiences and concerns of every day from the perspective of God’s will and mission in the world.
We hope your first visit to our campus will lead to many more, to a deeper journey, not so much about meeting your needs as about inviting you into a conversation with God. We start with the conviction that each person is uniquely and beautifully created in God’s own image and is deeply loved. Then a few questions: What is God asking of you today? How do your particular interests and gifts fit with God’s desire for you, for your family, for the world? How can we help you connect with the abundant life God wants for you?
