DESCRIPTION:Are You a Person Who Cares about Justice in Our Community? \nMany people care and want to do something\, but they are not sure what they can do. Come join fellow MPPC and community justice-seekers for a one evening (two-hour) event. The Nehemiah Action Assembly is the Charleston Area Justice Ministry (CAJM)’s big event for the year. Your presence with us on this one night can make a HUGE DIFFERENCE! \nCAJM’s Nehemiah Action Assembly will be held on Monday\, May 5 at 7:00 at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church (7396 Rivers Ave.\, North Charleston). \nOn this night we will show our public officials that our community cares about these issues: affordable housing\, bias-free policing practices\, environmental justice\, and quality education for all our children. CAJM has some BIG WINS to announce\, and there is still more work to be done on some issues. That’s why MPPC is on a mission to help save lives by hosting a blood drive Monday\, July 22 from 2-6 p.m.  This mission is a way to have an immediate and lasting impact on the community and individual lives and families.   \nAll (church members\, friends\, neighbors\, total strangers!) are invited to take part in this special event and donate blood for hospital patients in our neighborhoods and across the nation. DESCRIPTION:Are You a Person Who Cares about Justice in Our Community? \nMany people care and want to do something\, but they are not sure what they can do. Come join fellow MPPC and community justice-seekers for a one evening (two-hour) event. \nThe Nehemiah Action Assembly is the Charleston Area Justice Ministry (CAJM)’s big event for the year. Your presence with us on this one night can make a HUGE DIFFERENCE! CAJM’s Nehemiah Action Assembly will be held on Monday\, April 15 at 7:00 at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church (7396 Rivers Ave.\, North Charleston). \nOn this night we will show our public officials that our community cares about these issues: affordable housing\, access to primary healthcare\, bias-free police practices\, environmental justice\, and quality education for all our children. \nCAJM has some BIG WINS to announce\, and there is still more work to be done on some issues.
