Music Ministries

Contact Music Director Tony Sane with any questions about music opportunities at MPPC.

ADULTS
Choirs and ensembles at MPPC meet at various times and days throughout the week to offer something for everyone. Our goal is to glorify God through music in worship and to offer a small group experience where joys and concerns are shared.

YOUTH
Music provides a fun, safe place for our middle and high school youth to explore and grow in their creative pursuits within a community of faith.

CHILDREN’S CHOIR
Children’s Choirs at MPPC provide Christian education and faith development through the joy of music. Our children are nurtured through friendships with adults and other children, gain a sense of belonging to a community of faith, and experience music leadership in worship.

Concerts & Events

We host a variety of concerts & music related events at MPPC throughout the year! The Village Concert Series is a year long series that is organized by the MPPC Music Ministry and sponsored by many church and community members. These concerts are typically free and open to the public, and feature a variety of musicians, bands and performers. We also have other music related events taking place on and around MPPC. Check below for a list of any upcoming concerts or events. You can also view our monthly calendar at mppc.net/events.

Village Concert Series: The Gravel Road Bluegrass Band

April 26 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Join us at Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church on Friday, April 26 at 7 p.m. for a lively performance by the Gravel Road Bluegrass Band! We plan to host this concert outside so please bring a chair or a blanket. If the weather is bad, we will move inside to the Fellowship Hall. This concert is free and open to the public!

Gravel Road Acoustic Trio, based out of Charleston, South Carolina, is made up of three multi-talented musicians whose different backgrounds bring together a unique and exciting mix of music that includes bluegrass, country, and popular favorites. Gravel Road performs across the southeast and has appeared on “Lowcountry Live” as well as “Song of the Mountains,” filmed in Marion, Virginia. The group’s unique arrangements of tunes along with their vocal harmony precision make them stand out from the average bluegrass band.
