DESCRIPTION:Join us for a Blessing of the Animals Worship Service as we express our thanks for God’s creative power and sustaining care and acknowledge God’s call to us to be stewards of creation and especially the animals that are placed in our care. However\, walk-ins will be accepted and worked in. If possible\, please complete RapidPass before you come to the church. This will streamline the process and save you some time. \nTo schedule an appointment (in order of preference): \n\nOption 1: Download the Red Cross Blood Donor App to your smartphone and from there you can schedule an appointment time. Later\, on the day of the drive\, complete RapidPass. DESCRIPTION:October 29\, 2026 | 7 p.m. | Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church Sanctuary | Free Public Concert \nAmerican pianist Jared Alan Yoakem represents “a musician whose strengths are careful attention to the score\, a refined sense of balance\, clarity of texture\, and dedicated involvement in the underlying emotional message of the music.” (Stewart Gordon\, pianist – IYAPC 2025) \nAs a recitalist\, Yoakem has performed as a soloist and chamber musician most notably at Castleton and the Washington Internation Piano Festival. \nAs a collaborative artist\, he has performed with artists such as cellist Sujari Britt\, entities such as Classical Singers Music Magazine and the Vocal Arts Society of DC\, and numerous choral projects that include two national PBS broadcasts at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville\, TN. He is a prizewinner of the 40th International Young Artist Piano Competition and a recipient of the Dean’s Advisory Council award for outstanding achievement in music from Belmont University.
