DESCRIPTION:Pacesetters is back in action for the new year! Our meeting this month will take place on Friday\, January 10 in the Fellowship Hall. We will have two speakers at our program this evening! Our semi-new Senior Pastor\, Rev. Dr. Nicole Partin Abdnour will take a few minutes to speak with us about our older adult program offerings and ministries. Her brief presentation will be followed by a short program offered by Platte Moring. Platte is a member of MPPC and also served our military in Afghanistan. He will speak about his time there as well as his interactions with the people in Afghanistan. \nDinner is $20/person\, collected at the door and the menu with feature Hoppin’ John plus other season fixings. Doors will open at 5:30 for appetizers and fellowship\, followed by a catered meal at 6 p.m.\, and then the presentation will begin at 7 p.m. Please RSVP to at susanmell@mac.com or text 843-697-2111 by the end of the day on January 6.

Meat will be provided\, but bring your favorite covered dish to share. Please sign up on Realm. \nThe Center for Birds of Prey and the Avian Medical/Oiled Bird Treatment Facility\, is a comprehensive program of medical care\, educational outreach\, and conservation research. They will bring some wild birds and present a wonderful educational program about the Birds of Prey in our area and the ones they help heal and return to the wild. This is one of our favorite events.
