Women’s Retreat
March 4, 2022 - March 6, 2022

After going through loss or a difficult season or situation in life it is important to give ourselves and others time to rest and renew before we rise. We will explore the history of Sabbath (Genesis) see it as a gift and commandment from God (Exodus 20:8-11), acknowledge our need for Sabbath, and look at it in a practical and relative way.
God has gifted us with weekly Sabbath-keeping. Practicing and keeping this, we leave space for worship, rest, and renewal in our lives. This rhythm helps gird us, ground us and strengthen us for the times in our lives when we face difficulty and challenge. Before we rise from the ashes, perhaps we need to rest in God’s graceful embrace… just as before we rise in the morning, we hopefully have rested well the night before. How then can we rise and rise WELL? (Answer: Together!)
Join us in March for a hometown Women’s Retreat. Suzy Edwards and Griselda Lartey will co-lead our program which will be focused on making space for worship, rest, and renewal in our lives. Both the message and the experience will be uplifting, giving participants a chance to step away from their busy lives to connect and recharge. The weekend offers time for enrichment, worship, and fellowship. Registration is now open here and will run until February 24th.
