What My Grandmothers Taught Me

October 31 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every month that begins at 7:00 pm on day Last of the month, repeating until April 24, 2022

The 2021-22 Presbyterian Women Horizons Bible Study is entitled “What My Grandmothers Taught Me: Learning from the Women In Matthew’s Genealogy of Jesus.”

Tamar, Rahab, Ruth, Bathsheba, and Mary—Matthew names these women for a reason. How might Jesus have heard the stories of his grandmothers? What can these Grandmothers-of-the-Faith teach us?  By exploring these stories together, we will gain a richer understanding of God’s good news in Jesus Christ.

This study will be led by Parish Associate Lib McGregor Simmons.  It will meet via Zoom on the last Sunday of each month from 7-8 p.m.  The first meeting will be August 29.

The study is open to all and will be especially helpful for persons who will be leading their monthly circle Bible study.

Register for the class below, and you will be sent an automatic Zoom link.
