Virtual S.T.E.P.S.

August 28, 2021 @ 8:30 am - 12:30 pm

Due to the rising COVID-19 numbers our STEPS event is once again “turning on a dime.” This year’s event will only be the planned VIRTUAL WORKSHOPS on Saturday August 28th. There will be no in-person component which means the Friday night events with David LaMotte and Saturday’s in-person workshops are canceled. The concert with David LaMotte will be rescheduled for some time in 2022.

However, STEPS is offering great virtual workshops. To register go here.  The Saturday schedule is the same as printed in the registration information (8:30am-12:30pm). All registrations should be made by Monday, August 23.  The ZOOM link will be sent to registered participants on Wednesday August 25.  The cost is still $10 which goes towards an honorarium for the workshop leaders.

Session B 10:30-11:45am

BV-1: ReShape 2.0, Emerging Church Leadership and Practice for a VUCA World (Volatility- Uncertainty- Complexity, Ambiguity)

BV-2: Fear Not! Faith-Filled Children’s Messages

BV-3: Talking with People Who Are Suicidal

BV-4: Of Immigrants, Refugees, and Exiles: A Christian Approach to Our Neighbors on the Southern Border

BV-5: The Impact of Cybercrimes and Its Effects on Our Children and Youth
