Gathering Around Books (The GAB Group)

4th Friday of each month during happy hour 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Do you love to read and discuss what you have read with fellow bibliophiles? This new offering may be just what you looking for! Each month we will read and discuss a fiction or non-fiction book which may not be overtly religious, but contains content and themes that can be discussed from a faith perspective.
The first meeting will be Friday, September 25 when we will GAB about This is Happiness by Niall Williams. The discussion will be led by Lib McGregor Simmons
The second meeting will be Friday, October 30 when MPPC’s own James Scott will lead the discussion on his book Target Tokyo.
Even if you have not finished the book (or haven’t even cracked it open and gotten as far as the first page!), you are invited to join in on what promises to be a lively discussion.
